We recently got one of the greatest point guards to play the game and he will be playing for one of the greatest coaches for PG's... But we in here talking bout Carmelo!?! Not Chris Paul... MELO!?! dafuq Clutchfans confirmed weak af I only wish we could have kept Pat Bev and become the most hated team in the league! Can't wait for the press conference today.
still need a finisher for him to set up. ariza and anderson comprise probably the worst forward tandem in the league at finishing in the paint or on the break, and both are woefully streaky from the arc. would be another season of watching these guys just clank open shots, except this time it wouldn't be just harden's passes for naught. luckily for cp3 he'll be a free agent next summer.
We are extremely lucky to have one of the greatest point guards of all time, still in his late prime, playing for the rockets. One of the best defenders, shooters, and passers to ever play the game. One of the best leaders, and best basketball minds of today's game. And my hat's off to the entire Rocket organization for this accomplishment. It has certainly turned me into a believer, and i truthfully was really starting to doubt things last offseason. (i too can't imagine how awesome we'd be w/ Bev in the back court with Paul, Harden, and Gordon. But, oh well...)
This is true. Although I am excited that we have CP3, we still need Melo to compete for the title. CP3 was just a move that possibly pushed us to WCF.
Paul is nice but not enough. That's where the Melo Hysteria comes from. Les and Darryl have pushed half their stack to the middle of the table, most of us just want to see them go all in. With no above rim finisher other than Capela I wonder how Paul will adapt.
Getting CP3 is marginal because him and Harden play the same position. Plus our current roster isn't a contender. With Carmelo, things drastically change & we know we have enough firepower to beat GS. CP3 alone doesn't do that
It's the Warriors effect. No one thinks that this team as it is currently constructed is able to compete with them. MOAR! We need MOAR! Give us MOAR!
Lol if we didn't have CP3 we wouldn't be as excited to be trying to get Melo. We are well aware what we have in CP3 but just like every team should be, you want more; a better opportunity to compete for a championship.
ummm the Warriors who happens to be the greatest regular season team with 83 win and a roster of Klay, MVP Curry and Defensive player of the year and a great bench but they were in there sitting and talking about getting KD ? damn what are they doing tha'ts weak AF, they shouldn't just improve , they should just sit on their ass and reject an Allstar type a player. And third the only reason we are talking about Melo is BECAUSE Chris Paul was traded here. Melo is the current news that everyone is just waiting to finally be broken as the newest Rocket.
