I'm so darn glad He let me try it again, 'Cause my last time on earth I lived a whole world of sin. I'm so glad that I know more than I knew then. Gonna keep on tryin' till I reach the highest ground. Higher Ground...Stevie Wonder (or the Red Hot Chili Peppers)
"Hurricane" - The Click A rap song about the drink, but I have listened to this song about 50 times in the last 3 days, lol.

Alan Parsons - Standing on a Higher Ground I see the world And i'm looking from a high place Way above it all Standing on higher ground I breathe the air While they're running in a rat race Way above it all Standing on higher ground
Shelter from the sports - Bob Dylan Chain Lightning - steely Dan The waiting is the hardest part - Tom Petty I can't stand the rain - Ann Peebles a Hard rain is gonna fall - Bob Dylan Pressure Drop - Toots and the Maytals Under Pressure - Queen & David Bowie
When the Levee Breaks and The Rain Song were already posted, but they're both so appropriate, both oh so good, and I love each one, so I'm just bringing them up again. Then, another Zep song that would go along with the theme is Fool In the Rain. Great call on I'm Only Happy When It Rains by Garbage, Ottomaton - that is one of my favorite songs in all the land. Then there's "Naked In the Rain" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Also, "Apache Rose Peacock" belongs. While I bring it up, I gotta say how great the CD "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" is. I've been listening to that CD repeatedly the last few days. It's so damn good! I don't think "Blood Sugar Sex Magik," "Sir Psycho Sexy, "Give It Away," or "Under the Bridge" have anything to do with weather, but they should all go on the playlist 'cause they're all just so great. There's Clint Black's "Like the Rain." And, the playlist wouldn't be complete without Alice In Chains, so "Rain When I Die" makes the playlist. You also gotta have Soundgarden, so "Let Me Drown" and "Black Hole Sun" make the cut.
As long as you're on the topic, try RHCP's "Mother's Milk" "Mofo Uplift Party Plan" and "Freaky Styley". Good jams on all of those, also.
Okay, let the RHCP talk begin. I kinda started off backwards with them and had Californication and By the Way first. I always had some of their older hits like Under the Bridge, Give It Away, My Friends, etc... Not until some time earlier this year did I finally get all of Blood Sugar Sex Magic. Only recently, though, did I realize how great that was. So, for a while now I've been wanting to go back to their earlier CD's and see what else they had to offer. Their last 2 CD's are great, but they're so much softer than BSSM. I like harder stuff better, so they're not as great to me as BSSM. I was planning on trying to find One Hot Minute next because I just have a feeling that's one of their better CD's. BSSM, By the Way, and Californication have good songs the whole way through, I believe, so I'm wondering if anyone would describe their earlier CD's like that, too. How would you rank their CD's? Besides the 3 I've listed that I have, what's their best?
