Mobb Deep is super grimy. Hell on Earth is one of the darkest, hardest CDs. All of there 90s stuff is great. Big L is hard in a different way the Mobb, kinda more punchline over the top nuts, whereas Mobb is like subtle hardness. Personally it doesn't get much harder than Eye for an Eye Mobb Deep, Nas, Raekwon...Nas absolutely murders it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lncyvgKWt4
i mean it depends - are we measuring in felony crimes committed per 8 bars of lyrics, or just misdemeanors? Do attempts count? Jokes aside, Mobb, L, Nas, DMX, Wu, early 50 cent mixtape stuff pre-blow up (how to rob was a classic), and even beanie sigel had some dope joints for a hardcore east coast grime feel. Newer stuff has changed the definition of hardcore east coast.
