You are completely lost in this due to your partisan blinders.
Trump is opening up trade relations with Russia again. Did we really have to say this out loud? That means Russian energy will be at market price and China will not get bargin energy prices.

While your dumbass party is bickering with Eussia, China grows more powerful each day in part from cheap Russian energy.

A lot of misinformation all the way around.

Europe is not "broke", regardless of whatever the talking point may be.

Ukraine is going to lose land in this whole ordeal - doesn't mean it will be a "win" for Russia as what they get will likely not be worth the cost.

Whatever the eventual outcome is - it is unlikely that Russia will be in a position to invade Ukraine again, as there will be some commitment internationally or even from the Ukrainians and Poland or another nation to severely beef up their borders.

We are not putting American soldiers in Ukraine. What part of no security agreement do people not understand.

It takes years, if not decades, for the U.S. private sector to ‘mine’ for those precious minerals. Once that’s established, then perhaps we’ll have an interest in protecting those resources. That may provide some ‘security’ to Ukraine…

Thus, why Ukraine is fine with this initial deal but wants follow ups with security assurance

That’s the pot calling the kettle black.

What about your Russian blinders that tell you they are trustworthy and someone we want to have trade relations with after they blackmailed the globe with energy and food…..

Lol. China is still getting bargain energy prices from Iran.

Russia got closer economically to China, NK, and Iran…. And you want to trade more with that group?

Lol…. Didn’t your mother ever tell you to be careful about who your friends are?

Lol…. They grow more powerful through their Russian partnership you say?!?! And you want to join it?

    Weird flex.

It’s almost like Russia is trying to cozy up to China and back to the West with the help of the global far right….

Isn’t interesting who the far right seem to side with…. Russia, China, NK, and Iran.

Rubio pointed out that after Ukraine gave up its nukes in exchange for security assurances, failing to support them could lead other nations to seek nuclear weapons. He was right.

Europe targets homegrown nuclear deterrent as Trump sides with Putin
    https://www.politico.eu/article/eur...o-donald-trump-vladimir-putin-friedrich-merz/

Europe's politicians are openly discussing how they could tackle the threat of nuclear attack without American help, in a dramatic sign of the deep crisis engulfing the transatlantic alliance under Donald Trump.

In what would be a huge shift in position, the runaway favorite to be Germany’s next leader said the continent must find new ways to defend itself without the U.S. military underpinning its nuclear protection through NATO.

Friedrich Merz, whom polls suggest is on course to become chancellor after Sunday’s German elections, said his country would need to look beyond the U.S. to Britain and France for nuclear safeguards. Under Trump, he said, America could no longer be relied on.

“We need to have discussions with both the British and the French — the two European nuclear powers — about whether nuclear sharing, or at least nuclear security from the U.K. and France, could also apply to us,” Merz said.

France's Macron is ready to discuss nuclear deterrence for Europe
    https://www.reuters.com/world/europ...discuss-nuclear-deterrence-europe-2025-03-01/

PARIS, March 1 (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron has said he is ready to start discussions on nuclear deterrence for Europe, hinting France could help to protect other EU countries, given the security threats posed by Russia.

"I am available to open this discussion...if it allows to build a European force," he said. "There has always been a European dimension to France's vital interests within its nuclear doctrine."

This was a big red flag for me.....I am not a conspiracy theorist, but this putin boot licking is next level. I grew up in a staunch GOP house and Russia was a bad word, I am simply amazed that one man could turn the gop philosophy around after decades. putin is a MURDERERING Dictator and now we have clowns like L Graham who used to "get it" backing down so his king can be right.................as another poster said, its not the gop anymore, its maga. The press conf last week was a set up to make Zelensky look bad, the mineral deal was a nothing burger..........this wont happen overnight but our allies will slowly turn away from us for goods, if were going to be an isolation country and they know they cannot trust us, they will buy from others.

One huge take away from the last 3 years is the big bad Moscow military sucks...............

    had grok summarize it:

Cold War Era (1940s–1980s): Strong Anti-Soviet Stance

    Post-Cold War (1990s–Early 2000s): Cautious Engagement

Obama Era (2009–2016): Return to Criticism

Trump Era (2016–Present): A Dramatic Shift
The election of Donald Trump in 2016 marked a turning point for the Republican Party’s stance on Russia. Trump’s personal admiration for Putin—calling him “smart” and “savvy,” even praising Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine as “genius”—contrasted sharply with the party’s historical position

Current Dynamics (2025): A Divided Party

Our NATO allies were already concerned about sharing intelligence with the U.S. After that meeting in the W.H. and comments like "Putin went through a hell of a lot with me," I wouldn't be surprised if that's not a slow turn-away but more of an abrupt change in intelligence sharing.

    You are clearly delusional.

Are you saying that Biden's and Trump's tariff's against China have in effect made China grow more powerful.

Or are you just making **** up?

Remember how the war mongers insisted conscription wasn't a thing. And then quietly it was a thing. So much for Russian propaganda being true after all.
But I am sure this is Russian propaganda too

I don't get the point either.

Did he think a country going through war was a party town? And the alternative is to side with Putin?

Space ghost is a dummy. Just go to space already with your lord elon.
