You’re confusing me for someone who thought Trump was a puppet, I said I just think he is weak with a fragile ego. Since you copied and pasted you reply, I can only assume you also weak like Trump.
You are really hung up on “ puppet”. But considering the Biden admin already put sanctions on Russia and we don’t actually trade with Russia….. Trump’s sanctions and tariffs are just really empty threats. How about Trump proves he doesn’t kiss Putin’s ass by putting forth another Ukrainian package for weapon systems and munitions?
Oh, so now they are empty threats... right... it's all a misdirection campaign... Trump and Putin probably planned this together! Is Trump, as Putins "puppet", sending military aid to Russia? Intelligence? Economic Aid? Pressuring allies to stop helping Ukraine? Anything? Or is it all just leftists fantasy land like usual?
We don't know what kind of intel Trump has given or not given. We know that in his previous administration Trump used a consumer grade iPhone to conduct official business and refused to use secured lines. Being Putin's puppet doesn't have to mean taking overt measures. So far Trump has done nothing other than prattle. Has he reached out to talk to allies about sanctions and tariffs? Has he done anything other than talk? Has he moved or even talked about securing aid for Ukraine? Has he ever denounced Russia's invasions? Has he stated that he wants Ukraine to win?
So can you right wing ideologues explain to me what else Trump can sanction and put tariffs on for Russia? What is Trump doing that helps Ukraine right now? Trump is constantly try to weaken NATO and alliances…. Moved the goal posts once NATO members increased the spending due to the Russian invasion to 5% of defense spending.
Trump has an issue with NATO, that is his biggest issue with the war. He also likes how Russia wants to influence its part of the world as evidenced by talking about invading Canada. He thinks powerful entities have to let like entities know they stems hee big dog on the block. It's very egomaniacal If George Washington were president today do you think he would have the US flexing it's muscle? He needs to mind the words of Teddy Roosevelt. Speak softly and carry a big stick
I don't have a full understanding of the scope and nature of sanctions imposed on Russia by the United States. Neither do you. My understanding is sanctions are a moving target as countries evade them, they can always be tightened, especially secondary sanctions. You're asking to prove a negative again. "Prove that Trump ISN'T Putins Puppet" - "Prove that Trump ISN'T sending Putin intelligence" - You and others are the ones making the claim Trump is Putins puppet. You are the ones who need to come up with the proof. Show us the proof. What is Trump doing for Russia? Is Trump sending Russia military aid? military intelligence? Economic help? Unconditional sanctions relief? Putting pressure on European allies to stop aiding Ukraine? Tell me. What are these affirmative acts of aid Trump is performing?
Again… I don’t think Trump is Putin’s puppet. Kind of feels like you don’t have much else to add besides that argument. Again, we do have knowledge of what Biden did in regards to sanctions. And we also have the knowledge that we don’t actually trade much with Russia to add additional tariffs. You are right, they are a moving target but there’s just not much else to tariff. As usual Trump doesn’t really provide any details…. Why won’t Trump and co provide more weapon systems and munitions to Ukraine?
Lots of people have an issue with NATO. America has been taken advantage of by the Europeans for far too long. This has been remarked upon by every Presidential administration going back decades and has been remarked upon by European military personnel. Just because you have an issue with NATO doesn't make you "pro-Russia" - that's nonsense.
Maybe he will? Idk he's only been in office a week. Maybe he doesn't have the appetite to fund Ukraine like the last administration did. That doesn't make you "pro-Russia" Just because Trump and Biden oversaw the pull out of Afghanistan doesn't make them "pro-Taliban" That's nonsense.
Lol taken advantage by Europeans? Like the US hasnt wanted to have military bases around the world to project power wherever it wants…. Or have an incredibly strong military. Every president has remarked NATO needs to increase their spending and guess what they did when Russia attacked Ukraine… then Trump moved the goal posts again and said it had to be 5%. Trump weakening the strongest military alliance in the world is curious…. Especially since it’s what our enemies want.
Makes sense. Biden offered Zelensky a ticket out when his intel told them Russians were about to blitz Kiev. He stayed at a time when the world wrote off the Ukranians. I don't know how Z's true worth, but X posters think he's a multi or centi-millionaire. Staying to be a figurehead in a life or death war doesn't make sense for a pure kleptocrat. If Ukranian voters don't want to re-elect him with a free-ish election, that's more than fair...
Just because you've been a pro Russian b**** for a decade and openly cheer for Ruzzian war crime army and their rented North Korean serfs as they bomb playgrounds and commit war crimes doesn't mean you're pro Russian It just means you're against war (aka a 3 day special military operation that is in year 3 and still no closer to achieving its initial goal)
Zelensky throwing the Biden administration under the bus. "Binden administration says they sent us 177b. We only received 75b" Zelensky accusing the corrupt Democrats and Biden of being thieves to the tune of 100b. Democrats are grifters.
