This is hilarious. Anyone who believes this...I mean is literally stupid.

Trump is Putin's little b****. Putin just won the election, he's not going to destroy all that over a few missiles. Biden knows Ukraine can do anything now, because the war is over once Trump is in office. Trump will withdraw US support, and force Ukraine to accept Russia's offer which will not be easy to swallow. Most likely involving massive territorial concessions.

Russia isn't going to nuke the land it's just about to get. The person is an idiot.

Courtesy note: Continuing calling Trump "Putin's little b" pretty much invalidates anything you say. The reality is the majority of Americans are done funding this war.

You war mongers are getting what you want. Full escalation of modern weapons that have never been used.

Hello, my name is Donald Trump. I am not a serious man; I just play one on TV. Could I interest you in some lightly used playing cards, sneakers, and watches?

Russia threatening nukes is the old kremlin playbook......try and scare them. The problem is the world has seen how weak the Russian bear is, if they can't take Ukraine what the hell makes anyone thing they could win against a real military

What possible outcome could they achieve, you're going to piss of the rest of the world and bomb the place you're trying to take over. I hope Ukraine doesn't take a crappy ass trump, you think trump will try and make this fair for his little buddy putin or be fair to Zelensky...................I would say, he won't take it, see if the EU can support them.............the next 2 months we should let them bomb the F out of russian assets like they did yesterday, hit the ammo depots, hit their planes and tanks and make it hurt

That is …. a very interesting (?) view of what Bolton said.

He said that Russia doesn’t have an army ready and their threat of nuclear reaction is a bluff because the USA has nuclear weapons as well.

Please tell me what the alternative solution is if you don't negotiate a settlement with Russia?

I'm all for sending Ukraine weapons to aid in the wholesale killing of Russian soldiers. However, at some point the Ukrainian people need to think about self-preservation.

Because Russia is doing what they do in a meat grinder style war and that is moving their lines forward. The media just seems to avoid reporting on it very much. Here is one article though from the BBC that talks about the current realities on the battlefield.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn0dpdx420lo

Ukraine front could 'collapse' as Russia gains accelerate, experts warn

"President Biden’s decision to provide anti-personnel mines to Ukraine, and allow the use of long-range missiles on Russian territory comes as the Russian military is accelerating its gains along the front line."

"Data from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) shows that Russia has gained almost six times as much territory in 2024 as it did in 2023, and is advancing towards key Ukrainian logistical hubs in the eastern Donbas region."

Looks to me like Biden is just trying to slow down the advance with the missile strikes inside Russia and allowing the use of land mines so he can get out of office before the Russian army breaks out.

Imagine if Biden actually allowed those strikes and mines when the Ukrainians were you know.... on the offensive.....

Makes you wonder what the goals really were other than creating another forever war for Raytheon, Boeing, etc, etc, etc

Russia wasn't planning on stopping with Ukraine. It's goal was to re-establish the USSR and assert itself as a super-power. If the west did not fight for Ukraine, Russia would then take the baltic countries as well. it sitll may do that, but it will be much delayed now as it will need to rebuild its forces. Strategically, it was the right decision for US interests. If Ukraine can end up with most of its territory it's a partial win. Putin will rebuild and invade Ukraine again until either Putin is out or Ukraine belongs to her again.

I don't believe Russia will invade a NATO country like the Baltic States. They MIGHT barely squeak out a win over Ukraine. NATO would pound them in a conventional war like Manny Pacquiao beat down Oscar De La Hoya and made him quit on his stool. You realize we have about 100k soldiers in Europe right now? That is equal to the maximum we ever had in Afghanistan.

I'm not arguing about why we supported Ukraine the past few years. As I said I am and I was all for sending weapons to kill Russian soldiers. I'm talking about dealing with the realities of today. This was always going to end in a negotiation with Russia gaining territory or a Russian victory on the battlefield. Trump is just going to speed the process up. Whether that is the right decision or not we won't know until we see the deal and what Russia does next. Also, if the Russians are getting close to breaking through the lines then making the inevitable deal now might be the right answer. Leave as much territory as possible in Ukrainian hands as a buffer zone if this does start up again.

Not to freak anyone out but I’m hearing that the heads of Poland, Germany, and a couple other countries apparently have been constantly on the phone with the guys at one of the big defense contractors here in the US that make the Patriot missile systems to get certain systems shipped out like asap. Usually orders take years but I guess they are moving heaven and earth to get Poland and Germany specifically stocks before the end of the year.

Good friend of mine works on the program and he would be in the know with who the ceo is meeting with and the general temperature in the room so to speak. It’s also odd that Germany and Poland are seemingly getting highest priority over even Ukraine who had been basically getting whatever is first out.

I’ve generally been one to downplay Putin’s Sabre rattling and the Russian culture of empty threats and lies. However I do think something has changed and it’s not just about Bidens agreement to allow for ATACM’s. I also know that Russian bots on social media have been pushing the narrative online to gullible right wingers about WW3….so I’ve been a skeptic that something has changed but I do hear that while ww3 isn’t a thing but something has changed at least with those two countries.

My guess is Putin is maybe viewing his position similar to that of when the US was trying to end the war with Japan. In that case it’s maybe good that Putin doesn’t want to continue to war… and bad that he sees it as existential enough to end by being able to actually pull the lever on using a nuke, and bad that for whatever reason Poland and Germany seem to believe that whatever is coming is likely to drag them into the war sooner than later.

It’s also is contrary to the belief that somehow if Trump is elected the wars will suddenly end. If anything it seems to be having the opposite immediate reaction.

Ukraine has had a very bad last several months, and is losing the war. Putin wants to get as much progress for his side while Biden (a weak, feeble man) is running the USA. When Trump comes in, fear/deterrence is restored. This is the USA's biggest asset in foreign affairs... and it was lost under Biden during the Afghanistan withdrawal. One of the biggest reasons Trump won was to restore strength and power to our military... which was turning into a trans/LGBTQ social experiment and losing its warrior culture.

Russia won't invade another the Baltic states now that their army has been depleted to the point they need N Koreans to fight for them. That's the success of this war for NATO. But Russia will build back up - so the west is only buying time. The longer this war goes on for Russia, the best for NATO as it keeps Russia bogged down.

It will end because Trump will help Putin by cutting weapons and thus forcing Ukraine to accept territorial loses. But the more it can slow Russia down, the more territory it can hold.

Then obviously we should use appeasement and allow Russia to continue invading sovereign nations. I mean who would have believed that when Russia made an unprovoked democratic Ukraine they would use their weapons when they met with strong resistance?

Oh well best to do the American tradition and just fold, appease and surrender. That is the American tradition, right?

    Great plan
