The steps that the House Republicans took worked then. The spending on Ukraine has been incredibly unbalanced, as the US has picked up vastly more than its fair share. It's Europe's turn to pay for this unwinnable war. A war that was caused by Biden violating Putin's red line (eastward expansion of NATO) by trying to set the stage for Ukraine's future inclusion in NATO. All of this was avoidable. Biden's handlers knew that the Nov 2021 strategic cooperation agreement with Ukraine would prompt war. And it did. Biden is basically Democrat Dick Cheney -- he wants endless war. Except he's more corrupt and far dumber.

    Pretty simple.

Do voters want to capitulate and give in to Putin, or not?

Biden - pledges and has put action to his pledge to stand up to Putin and not back down.

Trump - Putin can do whatever the hell he wants.

Tell me you watch a Russian sock puppet like ****er carlson without telling me...

Europe has been paying for the war in their own way. The sanctions imposed on Putin cost them a trillion in finding gas alternatives this winter and the last.

Forced cuts in energy consumption also crippled their manufacturing with Germany and Britain officially entering recession this year

There is no way Ukraine can enter NATO as long as Crimea is not settled. Zero.

To blame Biden for an imaginary red line that even Putin's BFF Xi didn't know about is like blaming Ukraine getting invaded for wearing a sexy red dress.

When you made your name playing class republican clown ages ago, Bush and Cheney were your heroes.

With Trump, you'll flip to whatever tune the piper is playing,

I liked the old schtick better.

Europes problem. They can pay the US billions of dollars to supply the weapons Ukraine. Europe can pay Ukraine directly to fund their government.

US can donate a couple billion in humanitarian aide. Food, Water, Medical supplies.

So you are willing to capitulate to Putin. You are certainly entitled to hold that opinion. I disagree, and believe that U.S. would be lacking in its leadership, abandoning a democratic nation, and the rest of its European allies which are already doing huge amounts in the effort. The U.S. should take a leadership role and help make stand. The benefits to the U.S. would greatly outweigh the disadvantages in addition to just being the right thing to do.

Its less about the money and more about the focus. Ukraine and Israel are not our biggest problems.

They are problems with immediate or time sensitive needs and must be addressed now.

Assuming the 97 yr ol grandma you stll have my sympathy. Assuming, as you probably do that Putin is irrational homicidal maniac you don't keep pushing the maniac who has nuclear weapons and can crush your country just because you think in the future he might invade. Common sense or vey reckless.

Except except except - decades long Putinitst like yourself don't actually believe that he's a "homicidal maniac" who was forced, absolutely forced - to invade due to "Minsk 2".

How do I know this? I have the receipts.

    NO chance of happening.

You're right, Putin's not Stalin, he's got less charisma and is uglier and balder and stupider.

Homicidal maniac - but definitely not "bonkers!" per @glynch

NOte the "it doesn't happen" here is further invasion of Ukraine by Putin - good call, @glynch ! lol

@glynch willingness to blame the victims - the millions of people in a country that is being invaded - through no fault of its own, by, using his own words "an irrational homicidal maniac...who has nuclear weapons" (and is therefore, blameless) is pretty ****ing annoying and stupid and embarrassing in its own right....

.... but if you couple it with a decade of @glynch assurances (see above) that Putin was not a threat, not homicidal, and not a maniac and that such an invasion wasn't going to happen and was all a figment of our imagination..... it's a downright disgrace.

Just like all of his posts.

We all know the US has the capacity to handle both foreign and domestic issues. Even SG knows it.

But what he also knows is that you care deeply about things like healthcare, public education, infrastructure, etc. here at home so he puts a false choice out there to try and gaslight you in order to soften your stance on Ukraine.

He’s no dummy. His intent is clear and that is certainly pro Putin directly or at best indirectly. Maybe if he was posting day and night about Medicare for all in a Bernie thread we could give him the benefit of the doubt but we all know that track record of super concern over domestic investment does not exist.

And the amount we spend on sending aid to them is small compared to what we spend on domestic issues. Nor are their a lot of legislation and while Biden talked about Ukraine and Israel last night most of the speech was on issues like border security and reproductive rights.

We can do multiple things at once. Our biggest problems require a Congress that can actually pass legislation......

    (just an advice,)

If you think Biden is better person than

Putin/Trump on moral grounds , you might

    need a reality check .

I still hope Biden will win 2028 Election though

This makes sense if you don't know the definition of "moral grounds" or have suffered a TBI.
