It is over. The UN is impotent. The current US regime is dangerously incompetent. NATO has no obligation here and is rightfully afraid of provoking the Russians further, when none of the NATO countries is interested in going to war over this.

Any further sanctions or embargos at this point are very likely going to backfire and are likely to hurt us more than them.
