Depends on how a DeSantis would actually campaign. Would he double down on the "base" to avoid a Trump 3rd party split the ticket, or would he try the Mitt Romney tactic of going to the middle towards the debates? Even then, if the election is about the issues of abortion, protecting social security, etc. ANY Democrat always has a good shot at winning that election. If the election is all about how terrible Biden has been on the economy and the media runs with that narrative... .yeah... DeSantis could be tough to beat with Biden. I think Biden will be a very popular president in our history regardless of how he's polling now. Does historically popular president equate to unbeatable in any election??... IMO not at all.
