Lengthy article on drone usage in the war Russia and Ukraine are fighting the first full-scale drone war
Quoted death figures at the beginning are comically low. They mobilized 100,000 men, 300 of them have died, now they are talking about having to have another mobilization? If only 300 of 100,000 have died, why do you need another 100,000? I think I've personally seen more than 300 photos of dead mobiks.
An excellent article. Since it's from The Washington Post, not too surprising. Thanks! I'm a very fast reader and very slow on a keyboard.
Hitting targets well within Russia seems a little risky. If western media tells us right, Russian morale for this war is pretty low. But if Russians start feeling like their own lives are threatened, they might commit more to winning. But, they are sticking to military targets at the moment at least.
The same Russians who were cheering that maternity wards were targets for missile strikes and old ladies were freezing to death without power for heat last week are apoplectic that the Ukranians would dare to have the temerity to attack an airfield with "defenseless" Russian bombers. The lack of self-awareness is epic.
Ukraine's custom drone strikes showed Russia it can hit Moscow, doesn't fear more escalation https://theweek.com/russo-ukrainian...trikes-showed-russia-it-can-hit-moscow-doesnt
