You are the one who posted the tweet where they misspelled “Trump” regarding appeasement. Apparently Biden providing the lion share of the Ukrainian aid is appeasement compared to the previous guy that tried some quid pro quo with Ukraine,
the post was about aquiesenue to Putin, and its ramifications for Taiwan. Biden having greenlit the invasion of Ukraine, I have trouble envisioning him defending Taiwan. there's little about our current military posture in the western pacific that would suggest we could, even if we wanted to.

MCcarthy just made a deal with the devil and her name is MTG, I hope he has fun trying to keep her between the rails. In her world we should never help anyone.............merica first by dog it, thank the LORD and pass the ammo
Biden has stated that most likely under his presidency he will interpret the ambiguous policy as meanign the US will defend Taiwan. He's made it less ambiguous. Is it your contention that Biden is appeasing the PRC by saying they will defend Taiwan?
This has been discussed extensively on D&D including here: https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/taiwan-invasion-wargame.315826/#post-14100942 It might be better to move Taiwan specific discussion to that or a more appropriate thread but yes the US does have resources that could be rapidly deployed to defend Taiwan. The PRC has a large advantage given geography so would likely do well early in a battle but things would shift as the US and allies started moving in resources.
Russians apparently fired a Kh-55 missile at Kiev without an explosive warhead. Instead, it had a "dummy" nuclear warhead place holder. Apparently this isn't the first time it's happened. Russian quality control. One of the enemy missiles of the Kh-55 type, which was shot down over Kyiv yesterday, did not have a warhead. A block simulating a nuclear warhead was "screwed" to the projectile, writes Defense Express. There are several explanations for such an irrational act of the Russians. First: the occupiers involved in the preparation and execution of the next strike simply followed the instruction "from above" to once again ensure the massive use of cruise missiles. Therefore, the Kh-55 with a nuclear warhead simulator also went into operation. This option shows that Russia's stockpile of cruise missiles is running out to a critical level for the Kremlin. Second: the Russians deliberately used the Kh-55 with an "empty" simulator of a nuclear warhead to create an overload of air defense. This is completely in the style of the occupiers - "hammering nails with a microscope." As noted in the publication, the option also indicates that the Russian missile stockpile is running out. UPD: According to ZN.UA, rockets with empty "nuclear containers" were also found in the western regions. These shells also did not explode. Subscribe to ZN.UA
Could it also be that the Russians were sending a message? Sending a missle with a dummy nuke could be the message that they could send an actual nuke next time.
How long, prior to Pearl Harbor? So, in theory we just let Hitler and Germany take Europe and act like we would not be next? Yes, they do. Okay, so you are saying just let Russia take Ukraine, and then Poland (also been fought over for centuries) and then he can take all the former Soviet states and on and on. Trump weakened the US position as a global power.
Same. It also smells a bit desperate since we know they have nukes, and theyve threatened to use them many times.
