is aid to Ukraine "US Defense" spending? or something else? does it come out of the US defense budget? honestly asking...
Aid is a mixed bag but things like weapons systems are coming for the DOD. Note many of the weapons given to Ukraine are weapons that were already in US or NATO stockpiles so don’t represent new spending.
Someone might just have a link missing to not know that. All you have to do is watch the real story, then read the GOP fear mongered or whitewashed version. It happens over and over.

LMAO. You really just proved point. I suppose you still think Trump won the election, Antifa was behind the Capitol riot, and kids in schools use litter boxes. All fables propagated by the GOP.
My impression is that China's actions on Taiwan are going to be greatly informed by how well we can stick with defending Ukraine. If we succumb to political infighting and give up after less than a year due to elections, I expect any Chinese invasion of Taiwan will be greenlit/greatly accelerated and the two will fall as a package deal. Same with Putin"s nuclear threats. If we roll over for his bluster, we've just provided a template to China for how to conquer Taiwan and keep the US from becoming involved.
