Would be a huge strategic mistake. Learn from the Vietnamese and Afghanistan/Taliban. Use the size and your ability to move within your territory to wait out the insurgence. It’ll cost innocent lives when Putin starts carpet bombing but if you want to win and have the country survive as an independent nation it’s best to make Russia play guerrilla warfare and use the five eyes intelligence to anticipate and counter. I bet Zelensky will never again brush off US intel. I’m sure he’s got Biden on speed dial by now cause it’s obvious we know a lot and he’d better listen if he wants to survive.

If Putin has to play ugly guerrilla tactics the hope here is it’s broadcast at a level that Xi feels some pressure to put distance between him and Putin. Then again the biggest fear I have is Xi takes advantage of the worlds eyes being on Ukraine and invades Taiwan. Then we are definitely in a new world war of sorts. Xi is really the person to blame here because he is the one person other than Putin who could end this tonight. It should frighten everyone that he’s possibly in on it.

WW3 will be the end of the human species.

Putin should be held accountable and executed.

    Keep dreaming

The current US President voted for the Iraq war and since then received 2 promotions to the top of the most powerful government in the world, and Dubya is sitting in a mansion in Dallas pretending to be reborn as a self-described "simple-painter"

Belarus is involved? This is going to take NATO to come in full force, probably with US forces leading the way.

Belarus has been a de facto part of Russia for decades.

It would likely take a full year for China to ramp up for an attempt at invading Taiwan and there are only two times a year to launch a large force across the straight. China has definitely been increasing harassment of Taiwan through the air and sailing ships through contested waterways.

there are reports on ukranian side that belarus soldiers/military are involved. the belarussians are also doing military leaders pow-wow as we speak, it's reported.
Lukashenko's statements so far imply that he wouldn't mind being involved. He is looking to kill a few dissidents hiding in ukrain

This is going to drag all of Europe in against Russia - I doubt sanctions will be enough, it is going to take, troops, guns, bombs, tanks, planes, ships, subs....everything will get super messy.

Seems we are at the beginning of WW3.....

The world needs to wisen up, dictators are evil.

Dictators being bad and democracies and self determination being good is a good take.

This situation makes it pretty obvious that one guy can randomly decide to subjugated 42 million people by claiming a non-existent genocide and blaming west democracies to be untrustworthy shams. That's as evil as it goes.

I remember one of the last things the Trump administration did was pull out of the Open Skies treaty and did so against the wishes of our NATO allies and the vehement protest of Ukraine, who claimed without the treaty in place it would be much more difficult to monitor Russian military buildup before an invasion.

Things that make you go hmmmm.

Yea, the “dictators are evil” part is clearly what I was referencing as a bad take.

    Prick.

He knows he's outgunned against the rest and that's why he has already stated publicly that if you don't think he will use nukes on anyone who gets involved then you are sadly mistaken. I don't think Ukraine is worth a nuclear war.
