That b**** Ukraine really had it coming. If she didn't "want it" she shouldn't have walked around in those sexy NATO mini dresses flaunting it all the time. Russia just did what any red blooded male country would do with all that sexy farmland flaunted in their face. Its totally Ukraines and the fault of the NATO guys they were making out in public with that Ukraine got raped.
I am getting closer to wanting to send NATO troops in and call Putin's bluff.....kick him out of Ukraine completely... DD
I just referenced this movie last week. I told someone I was protected by a magical circle of Jesus fire. LOL
Just arm the Ukrainians to the teeth. Unfortunately, once again, the "social democrat" part of the German government is blocking behind the scenes.
"Pentagon assessments drawn from US intelligence" have also had a huge miss the readiness of the Russian Army.
In 1 to 2 years, there will be those who fully understand the scope of the war. Putin has been planning this for years. This very well could be as big as Sept 11th.
he has been planning to fail. Russia was supposed to take over Ukraine's capital in just a couple of days after 45 days, Russian's action (leaving Kiev) confirms that it has failed. As a result of Russian's unsuccessful/brutal invasion of Ukraine, indications are that Finland (who share a border w Russia that is ~ 830 mi long) and Sweden will join the NATO soon,
Yep, at this point. Any country not loyal to Russia will join NATO as soon as it can. They will do it during this war while Russia is distracted.
The only reason I don't want Americans in Ukraine is because I don't want to provoke Russia into widening the conflict into direct confrontation with NATO. But if we're orchestrating Ukraine's defense on the sly and the Russians aren't widening the war -- great. I think you miss the thread of the argument you were hopping in on -- whether Ukraine is a commodity war like Iraq. I don't think this is a commodity war. It's a war over spheres of influence and whether or not Ukraine will be Western. So, yeah, we've been pushing since the fall of the Soviet Union. But it's not because we want control of the wheat, nickel, and pipelines in Ukraine; it's because we want to expand the footprint of liberal, free market democracies that we can invest in, and trade and ally with -- and to shrink the footprint of dictatorships with state-capitalist economies.
for the benefits of basso, Arnaud Bertrand comes across as an ignorant fool in the wake of this development Russia has defaulted on its foreign debt after trying to pay in rubles instead of dollars. This could impact borrowing costs, inflation, relations with investors and more. this is the first time Russian has defaulted on its foreign debt since the Bolshevik revolution ~ 1917. A default would make Russia more of a pariah in the global economy.
I guess this will be USA fault too. Obama and now Biden strong-arming Finland and Sweden. Forcing them to want to join NATO just so we, The USA, can poke the russian bear in a game of Na Na Nana Na Na
