From there, they would be taken out of the conflict zone and delivered to Kyiv or other locations where they would be safe. On Friday morning, Russia bombed the train stations in at least four locations. At least 35 people, gathered with a handful of their belongings, seeking to escape the invasion, were killed on the station platform at Kramatorsk. You might be able to hit an attack helicopter with a Javelin, but you can't hit a missile or a fighter-bomber. That's what's doing the worst damage. Worse than even the Russian artillery. Javelin's are fantastic against tanks and other armor, though. That's been proven in Ukraine beyond any doubt. Ukraine needs serious anti-air systems more than anything else. There's a limit to what the Stingers and the similar UK "man-pads" can do.
