Obsession? If the guy would keep his mouth shut like his predecessors he would be irrelevant. The prick brings out the worst in people including you or maybe you were always that way.

I don't know if that is deflection as since 2016 he's been publicly calling for Russia to release dirt on his political opponents.

The Russian pullback is looking more like a reorginization / reposition of Russian forces than an actual overture for peace. It still is a sign of how poorly the Russian military has done that they even have to consider this.

I have no idea what Trump says. I only see the same people whine about Trump endlessly. Streisand effect full force.

Agreed, it simply boggles my mind that Russia continues to say one thing and do another. Its always been said by senior members of the government that you cant believe what they say but dam this is blatant as hell....Putin should be replaced and I hope his own people will do it, but truth be told he will beat them down and imprison anyone who disagrees........

Yea, sure. trump is by the far the leading republican candidate for president, has been campaigning continuously since before he left office, and has been the subject of numerous investigations, and yet you claim its only the people that complain about him that keeps him in the news.

Even if the Russians do come to a peace agreement they will likely keep on shelling until the minute it is implemented. I don't think they have any compulsion to willing look for peace with Ukraine. They are only doing so because they are realizing how badly their offensive is failing.

I think there is no peace until Ukraine can get it for themselves. Why they keep looking for security assurance. The war continues.

I don't keep up with politics and the drama that surrounds it. Some people enjoy the circus. I dont.

I think Trump reaching out to Putin for his political gain should not be part of this thread. It fits better in two other threads, but it's a political forum where cross-pollution happens often.

Some probably do enjoy the circus (hello mediatainment). The issue I have with that statement is it implies discounting of folks that choose to witness and see what's going on. Many witnesses what's going on to be more informed without enjoying it. Sh*t I hate the craps but think it's very important to witness what the leader of a party is doing accurately. If you don't witness what is being done or said, you can't be as informed.

The obsession is with our government for failing to due the right thing TWICE - when he was impeached, and the fact that all those greedy people in congress are not doing it because they would be exposed for the larceny they are committing.

At some point, someone needs to come in and right that ship....no matter which party, send Trump to prison, find out who has been insider trading charge them and put them in prison - take out lobbying as a form of bribery, and let's get back to constitutional governance.

Trump is a thing of the past. We can keep it a thing of a past if MSM would stop giving him so much attention. Unfortunately if you keep him in the media circus with a demand of him paying out his alleged crimes, it only aggravates his base more.

My understanding is that his base doesn't get their news from MSM nor consumes it. Foxnews will still cover him in a positive way. Trump won't be in the past if Republicans running for election keep mentioning him and his endorsements.

This thread needs to get steered back to Ukraine.

My greatest posting accomplishment may be shaming @basso @Os Trigonum and @StupidMoniker among others into pretending that they don't support Trump.

Took a lot, but I finally made the MAGA brand toxic.
