Could Trump have legitimately have been concerned about corruption in Ukraine? Wouldn't that be a good thing to explore?
HAHAAHAHAAHAAHAhahahahahahaaa The fact that I actually can't tell if you're trolling is a sign of your skill. Bravo.
When bigtexx acknowledges trump blackmailed Ukraine to get dirt on a political opponent and attempts to justify it, you know trump needs to be removed from office.
Perhaps in another timeline. But this is the same Trump who has turned a blind eye to North Korea’s nuclear program because they had a summit and has asked for G6 to be at a Trump property. Corruption is probably encouraged behind closed doors by the current administration. “Because they’re smart”
It’s desperation because for many on both sides politics is about winning and not principles so these people are thrashing because they’re taking Trumps criminal behavior personally instead of recognizing they picked a corrupt horse.
It shouldn’t be shocking though. The Republican Party has a giant media apparatus and the other side has to rely on the MSM which always works against their interest in the end. Case in point- last night I went to 24 hr fitness and of course of the 20 TVs they have on, I swear 15 of them are on FoxNews. Brett Baer was on (one of the least partisan shows mind you) and they ran a segment on The Whistleblower saga, and never once mentioned the whistleblower complaint. The story was about Trump fighting corruption, and on Joe Biden’s handling of Ukraine with his son on the board of a Ukraine company. Not till the very end did they Squeeze in about 5 seconds of Trumps role in the saga. Point being... a coffee cup can win an election if that coffee cup is a Republican and the media is constantly telling half of America daily how great that coffee cup is and how your life will end if you don’t vote for that coffee cup. On the other end the media that is supposed to be on the liberal side is constantly obsessed with fairness and whataboutisms their viewers to death, and really depresses the voter base that watches their programming. So it’s a double whammy and shouldn’t be shocking that it’s led to some jackass like Trump being able to get elected and some of the best candidates in politics on the left wondering what the hell they have to do to get 5 minutes of positive media coverage during an election cycle.
Not in the sense that he was concerned about the legality or morality, his only concern is how he could exploit a possible vulnerability to his own advantage. I honestly think that Trump thinks he didn't do anything wrong. He is absolutely used to using any powers he can to achieve advantage over everyone that he can. Threats of lawsuits, non-payment over labor and materials, catch and kill public relations are all just standard business tactics to him. He doesn't see any difference between the Office of The President and being the CEO of Trump Inc. To him it's an autocratic position of ultimate authority when in reality it's it's an administrative position managing the interests of The People. I watched the Netflix documentary The Great Hack yesterday. It was a re-revelation on how this guy got elected using 'weapon's grade' misinformation. For every truth that effects someone with enough assets, there will be a counter campaign of disinformation that will diminish popular opinion to some degree so that all truth has become relative. It might be the most impactful change in human history.
The tell - You can determine bigtexx is in full-on spin mode when he asks a question or makes a suggestion instead of telling you exactly how things are in his usual smug, overconfident, condescending voice.
I agree that Fox News is probably a big source of this yeah, it brainwashes folks like poor Mick to be deranged about liberals. And yeah, we see it here often too, the conservatives are lock step behind another, outside of one or two posters, the rest won't ever go against Trump. They'll lie and say they do but they never actually do, no matter what he does or says, they are lock step behind him and that's what the democrats are up against, a side that puts party over country, while the other side is willing to reflect on its politicians and sometimes downright attack them. No matter what I guarantee you there will be hard liberals that don't vote for Biden because "He's not progressive enough." or don't vote for Warren because "She's a socialist" and these people are as much as fault as the Trump voter for not understanding policies because they'll whine about the election results for the next four years.
People like you are scary. I know there's a lot of people that think this way too and I legitimately don't know how to break through that noise. There's so many important things to fix in this country but you will never vote in a way that benefits the future generations because you are so inundated with thinking everything is some deep state conspiracy, and that the other side is so bad and evil, that you would never let yourself possibly be wrong even when bad things happen in front of your face. That's such a scary way to think, and populations who think like that have been how bad and evil people have come to power all throughout history. You can write off anything bad you see as "the media", or just "TDS", or whatever, so that you never ever believe that your side is doing anything bad.
LOL - no. How about Trump be concerned about the corruption in his own household? You know the profiteering off the American taxpayer by staying at properties he owns???? DD
The thing is, you never know if anyone on the internet is someone's true identity or a constructed identity. Are they true believing zealots or paid advocates of a targeted storyline, or dupes of paid advocates.. They would 'appear' the same without personal knowledge over time and vetting. Hell, psychopathic behaviors could carry on a charade right to your face. All you can do is have some introspection about what you believe and call out misconceptions when you see them. But you still won't do it as relentlessly as someone getting paid to do it...sigh. FOX news, 5,000 Russians, 10,000 Chinese, The remnants of Cambridge Analytica, 100 other copycat startups, 2 billion vulnerable facebook users, every authoritarian regime....
