When I graduated back in '02, Burger King, Shipley's, Frenchy's and Navy Seafood were on Scott Street behind the Roberston parking lot; Popeye's, Domino's and "Save My A" were little further west. And "Somethin' Serious," the greatest ghetto barbershop in all of Houston, was just a little furhter down at Scott and Mcgowen. Interesting to hear that McDonalds is open late, a lot of the restaurants in, ahem, "that area" use to close up the dining room before 9:00; I would even see the attendant run up and lock the door if they saw me walking up around 8:40. If it weren't for the abject poverty, social isolation and complete uncertainty about my professional future (even as a business major) that I experienced then, I would love to go back to college.

By the way, the only "good cheesesteak place" I ever needed at U of H was the grill at the cafeteria at Moody Towers.

Well Taco Bell and the rest of them stay open late, but they close the dining early, only Drive Thru.
I don't know what grill you are talking about haha.
