I'm so obsessed. I've longed for the days when I could safely wear my t-shirts tucked into my khakis, while surfing the available males at Match.com. Oh to be a Rice alum!

    You think that's funny?

You are really losing steam in my respect department for you.

I'm all for good natured ribbing, but to put that kind of crap on some kind of pedestal is just lame and classless.

Speaking about College Bowl Game jokes. That reminds me of the reputation that BYU fans have in terms of traveling to Bowls. I think one of the bowl game officals said, "They come to town with a twenty in one hand and the 10 commandments in the other, and they don't break either one of them."

There. Hopefully we can at least come together and laugh at the Mormans.

ummmm... I don't think this board is a good place to do that.

Back to the original topic of this thread. Sorry Coogs; I was hoping it would turn out better than this. (remember: we have met the real enemy and it is the BCS. Time to root for each other against the powers-that-be.)

And for the rest of you - don't drink and post. :D

I would NOT advise that if I was you. Just trust me on this one.

And yes, Astro, I am a Miami fan, but I will be the first to tell you that my Canes have no chance because we have Brock Berlin at QB. We only won Friday night because the other team has the only guy worse than Berlin in Chris Rix.:p

I know this is not going to fly because I am posting it after the fact, but before the game I predicted a score of 66-14. My father-in-law laughed at me, saying it would never be that close of a game. At halftime he was really rubbing it in about my prediction.

    Well old man, who's laughing now?:p :D

Yes, and the A&M football team beat OU the year before. But hey, congrats on getting 13 points, I guess you win that battle.

    QB's against OU:
Kevin Kolb (Houston): 15 of 22, 221 yards
    Reggie McNeal (A&M): 4 of 13, 32 yards

    Yards against OU:
    Houston: 282
    A&M: 54

Yeah we both lost, but dont even try to compare those 2 games. The A&M - OU game last year was absolutley pathetic, they had 77 at the end of the 3rd quarter. We got past the 50 many times, A&M never did against OU last year.

While we're at it, the Rice defense only gave up 7 points to UH (sympathy points at the end of the game, at that!), and OU gave up 13 points to UH. Therefore, Rice's defense is substantially better than OU's.

Does anyone know what the deal with tickets for the Miami-Uh game at Reliant arena. I'm a Uh student and am interested in getting tickets for my non UH friends.

Look at the bright side. We stopped Oklahoma's consecutive string of possessions with a touchdown. Things are looking up. UH is back!

This was ugly...It pained me to watch this at my cousin's house...The first couple of minutes was great, then it was all downhill...

Well, at least we should beat Army before we lose to Miami...

However, Miami didn't look very good, but they won...

You can pull your student tickets for the Miami game at the Athletic Center (in between Hoffeinz Pavillion and the baseball field), which is the same place you can pull tickets for all home games. I think you can get up to 2 guest tickets, and they are $25 each.
