Patrick Beverley could undergo surgery on his left knee. Beverley will undergo further evaluations this week before a final determination is made.

Beverley has missed the past four preseason games with knee irritation.

Mike D'Antoni has planned on starting Beverley alongside James Harden in the backcourt.

With Beverley sidelined, D'Antoni has used K.J. McDaniels and Eric Gordon in the backcourt with Harden.

uh oh, morey's house might get on fire for refusing to find a halfway decent pg in the offseaosn

uh oh, priggs might be avg more than 20mpg this season

uh oh, rockets might have to give ty lawson another try

uh oh, harden might have to do 95% of the work on offense again

uh oh, brewre migh tavg 30mpg again

uh oh, clutchfans might go offline to compensate

uh oh uh oh uh oh uhhhh ohhhhhh why not just trade for a ****in pg then? get dmo's ass here, trade him and a bench guy for a pg. problem solved. go ddaam old geysers and their old bodies

He's very injury prone at this point.

fwiw: we have an insider here who has said the reports are NO SURGERY is required.

Here's our source: First comment was posted Oct 4th. Second one today, in the Feigen article thread. Click the arrows in the Quote Boxes to see the original posts and discussions.

Watkins saying "Could need surgery" is click bait, imo, and easy to explain away later. But who knows, maybe the doctor's appt today led doctors to change their mind vs earlier reports.

I'll believe it when someone other than Watkins reports it. His source is probably Mark Cuban trying to cut Bev's trade value.

Calvin Watkins ... Could be right but I'll treat it as wrong or agenda driven 100% of the time until proven otherwise.
