I used to work at Greek Tony's in The Woodlands

Weight before cooking was just over a pound for a large.

Has anyone tried Papa Murphy's? It's one of those where they will prepare the pie up until it needs to bake. You bring it home and finish it off in the oven for about 14 minutes. Tastes pretty good. :)

I don't understand the draw. You pay the same amount as any other delivery place, yet, you have to cook it yourself.

Had this all the time when I lived in Heidelberg. Delicious.

They were also crazy for the fried egg on a burger over there.

I was just coming in here to mention Papa Murphy's. As another poster said, it's pricey, but I've got an in. If you've got a pizza stone, it's infinitely better than any other big chain pizza.

    What's with Brazilians and eggs?

One or my good friends is half Brazilian and it seems that half of his family uses eggs for like everything. Apparently there's also some old Brazilian tradition that if you down a raw egg before a night of going all out drinking it'll help you not feel the effects as much the next morning.

We tried that and it obviously didn't work

Scientifically not much. In reality a ton.

It is a variety of shellfish that is found usually in colder waters. They have a different taste and are generally tougher and larger in size.

I have worked with chefs from Switzerland, Jamaica, Hong Kong, Philippines, Mexico and they have all said the best shrimp in the world is Gulf shrimp and the 16/20 size has typically the best, sweetest flavor.

I went to Chicago in July, and tried Pequods at Clutchfans reccomendation. Whoever recommended it (and it might have been you) deserves more rep than I can get.

We had to walk about a mile from the nearest subway to get it, but it was so worth it. So much in fact, that we were going to branch out and try Gino's the next day, but after waiting for an hour (with about another hour to wait) and seeing the prices, we left, bellies totally empty, and walked half way across the city to get Pequods for the second day in a row. Then, we had two frozen pizzas delivered to our hotel to drive home with.

Pepperoni and fresh garlic from Pequods is probably the best pizza I've had.
