    Don't know much about him but I'm sure he can't do worse than the last one..

    Wow that is a great hire. Stewart has both NFL and college experience and he is still fairly young. I wonder what they are going do with the offensive coordinator position. I read they may just have Kliff Kingsbury and Jason Phillips as co-offensive coordinators. I know Dana Hologerson was raving about SFA Offensive Coordinator Shannon Dawson so he may be a sleeper.

    I can guarantee he wont turn UH into a great defense overnight. The most important thing, IMO, is time. Coaches need time to develop their talent and system.

    When they promoted Kingsbury, they filled Holgorsen's position. I don't know about titles, but those are your offensive coordinator coaches.

    He has the most stout resume of anybody in the program it seems.

    Maybe he should hire Mike Leach as OC. I think UH plays Tech in Lubbock this year.
