Hakeem has every right to do what he wants to do, Rockets Legend or non Rockets Legend.

Dream owes nothing to the Rockets.

    Damn man.

Is it still too late to trade Yao to Golden State now that Golden State thinks they're good.

Big Yao goes back to China every year to fulfill his commitment to CBA and for playing for the national team.

Most of his commercial endorsements are in USA. He only got a big endorsement with China Unicom, and the rest are US based.

And as I've told you, there were minimum commercial related activities for him in summer. All his past summers were engaged in closed door training, rehabilitation, tournaments with the national team. Almost 90% of his activities outside of basketball were humanity and charity-related.

Yao is the greatest thing to be born on earth.

    I think Yao's mom is a virgin.

What is Hakeem supposed to teach yao?? Footwork? Speed? Quickness? Rebounding skills?

Yao is just to slow to learn from Hakeem!

Kevin McHale wasn't the most speedy athletic guy out there, but they said he had good footwork.

You don't seem to understand the point that I made to hotballa. You are seriously mistaken if you think I try to diss Yao here. So please stop quoting and replying to my posts. If anything, you should direct your anger towards the ones who talked like Yao has spent his time fooling around in China instead of staying here to work with Hakeem. Please re-read the whole thread and see who is dissing Yao here. I can tell you definitely that it is NOT me.

Just because Hakeem expressed interest, that doesn't translate into him WAITING for Yao to say "yes". He may very well have been busy with other affairs, and wanted to work with Yao in the future.

exactly. Deron Williams gave up his whole summer to learn from John Stockton in Spokane Washington.

Yao go to the food. The food does not need you.

Well, it isn't exactly Yao's decision what he does over the summer, now is it?

Maybe Yao needs to consider ditching Dream for some tennis action instead?

Yeah.... I read that about 10 days ago. The reason Maria Sharapova said she picked Yao Ming as her mixed double partner is that both of them will be that tall that no one would attempt to lob them....and they can smash the balls at the net..... :D

Why does Yao need go back to China very summer? His girl friend is here, the training for for the Chinese team should not be for that long. Please learn something from the Dream during the Summer. By the way, it will be his six year in the NBA, need a playoff series win for him and others.

One thing I hope Dream works with Yao is on the fadeaway jumper. Yao was pushed on that shot all the time and missed because he was off balance.

If you watch his turn around vs. Dreams, its an extremely tight spin. Dream's spin would move him back nearly 2-3 ft.

If Yao can use the spin to create more space, then it will be harder for other players to push him off balance & harder for help (AK) or even the defender to block the shot.

Also Dream needs to teach him how to post at the top of the key.
