    Do you honestly believe that his commercial appeal over there will not drop if he stops playing for his national team? And do you honestly believe that he will still be able to get the same multimillion endorsement deals if his commercial appeal drops?

    so there's no chance he plays for the national team because he feels it's the right thing to do for his country?

    The dream should have been going to china to tutor yao if he wanted too, but no all he wants to do is spend all his time in Jordan.

    Luff Daddy, at some point you'll understand the world doesn't always work the way you wish it did. Probably about the same time you move from junior high to high school.

    Dream was the past. Yao is the future and if dream wants to help yao, then it's his job to go to yao, not the other way around. Dream is held in high regard because of the two championships, but remember those both came in years when jordan was off playing baseball or came back rusty.

    No, it's a fair statement and is brought up by experts all the time. If Jordan never retired, the bulls probably win 8 titles in a row.

    If=argument for newbs

    People who disrepect Dream should be banned. You guys are lucky Clutch didn't make me admin.

    Batman needed Robin :(

    Was it just me or did Jordan say he's glad that Utah got the best of the Rockets because the Bulls had absolutely no answer for the Dream...?

    yeah its based on facts too. The Rockets had a winning record vs the Jordan Bulls. During the Otis/Dream/Horry era, the front line was too strong for the Bulls.

    But that's not the point. YOFuffy implied that Dream should go to China to help Yao instead of doing his religious studies in Jordan.

    That totally disrespects Dream. If you are real Rockets fan, you'd know how big an insult this is. Dream owes nothing to the Rockets.

    It's not disrespect to hakeem, but just calling it like it is. He was a great center, but was not the best center of all time. He also disrespected houston by going to toronto.

    That if jordan didn't retire, the bulls don't have that championship gap. Don't bring up regular season games cause we all know those mean nothing come playoffs time. Jordan is the greatest player ever and it's no disrespect to hakeem saying that he wouldn't be able to beat jordan's bulls in his prime.

    It's not wrong. Yao always has to go back to china in the summer for national team commitments. He is in houston all basketball season and if dream wanted to coach yao, he should come to houston during the season. Yao doesn't need to beg hakeem for his help.

    It might be true. I am not trying to discount the fact that Yao has his own national pride and he wants to play for his national team. I just tried to make a point to you that there might have been other very practical and legitimate (money-wise) reasons that he decided to go back instead of staying here to train with Hakeem. And commercial appeal and multimillion dollars endrosement deals could be very practical reasons.
