Very tough call with Lesnar coming off the illness. It's not so cut and dry, Lesnar was born to punish people. Should make for an exciting fight. Something UFC has that boxing does not is a very talented heavyweight division
I agree, I have a feeling Carwin wins when they fight but a rematch after that once Brock has had a year or so of training/fights etc... it could be a different story.
They have a couple up and comers...Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos. I like to watch Cheik Kongo fight, he's the bully of the heavyweight scrubs
Hardy is about to get worked via ground and pound. If he can't stop Marcus Davis or Mike Swick, how does he expect to finish GSP the 1b pound for pound fighter in the world (Anderson Silva is 1a)?
You beat me to it, even with the loss Mir is still very skilled and dangerous. You're right about Dos Santos and Velasquez, they could pose some problems
Wallyj12, you should be right with the GSP fight, but you never know, Hardy has great hands and takedown defense. But personally I'm hoping for a dominant St Pierre showing
I think unless some one gets lucky gsp is unbeatable at this weight. I was at the fight were he lost to sera it was crazy how he lost.
Why isnt he punching him in the face? He could finish him if he would hit him instead of just transitioning over and over.
Hardy is actually doing a good job of keeping his hands busy and making it hard for George to get clean shots in there. I can't believe George did fully crank that kimora until Hardy tapped
Hardys through at this point, and gsp keeps going for subs. He made fitch, alves, and plenty others look like grinded up meat after the fight. Hardy dosent even have a swollen cheek.
Hardy didn't deserve this title fight, but got it because George has essentially cleaned out the welterweight division. Going into this fight I thought Hardy was a big douche but I have alot more respect for him now after not tapping twice
