heres my problem with this theory...you're both saying...since it was an uneventful fight..basically no one was bloodied up, knocked out, or tapped out...the champ should stay champ. i dont like that logic...it basically advocates for champs to just delay time...circle around a bunch...basically try your best to waste time. like one of you mentioned, rampage laid there buying time for his leg...of course griffin could have tried to do more pounding..or submission attempts...but rampage should also have to look to get out...not lay there and rest the leg. is it smart for him to rest the leg? sure...but i think you should also be penalized for doing so.
