Yeah, this wasn't the Rampage we grew up with. It's like he lost his edge.

I'm not surprised Rashad won but I'm surprised how he dominated Rampage for most of the fight. Rampage had Rashad rocked and didn't take advantage of it.

The A-Team movie is going to be a big flop because of Rampage's defeat.

If they do have a rematch it better not be the main event.

I think it's obvious that Rampage was too tired to finish Rashad off. After they got back up, Rashad was still woozy, but Rampage needed time to recover too because he was exhausted.

Evans was a beast... Way too fast for Rampage. The fittest was the winner tonight.

You should really watch K-1 and Muay Thai tournaments.

This guy is retired but is basically the Muhammad Ali of Muay Thai in Thailand. Former WBC Champ when he was way past his prime.

Probably best present day fighter at his weight class despite losses in K-1 recently. They changed rules to prevent use of the clinch recently.

Carnage is the best pure Muay Thai fighter in the world currently and is going to be fighting K1 soon.

Not fighting for over a year will do that to you.

You got to wonder if the same thing will happen to Brock Lesnar when he fights Shane Carwin.

That fight isn't lasting more than a round anyways if Carwin wins.

rounds 1 and 2 summarized as follows...

leap in, jab, leap out, dance, get jabbed, hold him against the cage til ref breaks you up, repeat

(yea rashad tagged him early on ill give him that)

    round 3

rampage knew he needed the KO, went for it, and quite nearly got it but rashad recovered well then laid on top of him to avoid getting his face hit again.

overall: glad i didnt pay for this card, not much excitement over all especially in this fight. rashad looked like he had been watching too many early machida fights, he did what he had to do to get the W but i wouldn't say he really beat up rampage at all. rampage was definitely slower but he is also more powerful so you would anticipate that to an extent. After a year of hate building up it would have been nice to see these two really throw down but evans did what he had to do to get that title shot which is more important in the long run. i think rampage needs to fight the winner of the liddell franklin fight (in a win or go home maatch), or maybe forrest or lil nog. he cant fight machida, one because he doesnt deserve it and 2 machida would do what rashad did, just better.
