My goodness I would hate to sit beside some of these Italian fans at a sporting event. Many of them look like they are a mixture of smelly and dirty, paired with a complete lack of self awareness. I could envision a scenario where they elbow me 35 times during a game and don't even realize it, all the while smelling like they haven't showered in a week and have yet to discover deodorant.

America: You don't realize how good you have it until you visit Italy.

    GOOD DAY

Hope Draxler starts in the 2nd half.

Müller still hasn't found himself. We'll need Draxler sooner or later. Özil invisible as well, but that's no surprise.

Italians have shown how they can be dangerous out of nowhere. Guess this one will be decided in the player's heads.

This is the game we all expected: tactical and methodical. Germany are deservedly ahead and this has always felt like it would be a 1-0 win. Italy can't even maintain possession in the German half.

Boa :( Best player of the tournament so far, one dumb mistake that brings Italy back. They had zero chances in the second half expect that penalty...

So f'n annoyin, Italy with literally zero chances in 105min and only in the game because of Boateng's bullsh** lapse.

Germany has had way more possession but legit chances have been about equal, no much from either side

Gawd...what did Basti do there. Goodness.

I almost had a heart attack during this penalty shootout.

FINALLY we break the spell and beat Italy at a Euro or World Cup.

In the end, it was luck, but over the course of the game, one can say it was deserved.

France will be a very very tough opponent, especially without Hummels.

Italy with some heroic defending otherwise Germany could've easily ran out with a 2 goal win. Kimmich though. What a talent.

Bastain. He looked like he was knackered early on in the game but was everywhere as the game went on. Hope he can stay fit for United. What do y'all German brehs think? Is he done?
