damn! 20 grams is a felony? thats not even an ounce. texas is 4 oz., i believe. and in austin under 2 oz. just gets you a ticket - the officer can arrest, but its at their 'discretion'. any nba player who gets busted for pot is a dumbass - you are a multi-millionaire who probably lives in a bad-ass house with all kinds of giant tv's with the latest video games and swimming pools and go-karts and indoor bowling alley and a recording studio - if you were going to get high, where else would you want to be? get one of your friends to buy it for you and bring it to your house - smoke it in your house and not in public - how hard is that? there is no excuse for smoking pot in your car, especially when you are a "high" profile athlete. keep it in the house and nobody but your friends will know. its possible the cop made up the part about him smelling pot just to have an excuse to search, and if thats the case they should have refused to allow a search.
[B-Bob's horribly hot Heat Hate are GO] This is the 2nd bit of bad news since J-Ho was signed, I think. Didn't their 2nd year point guard hurt his ankle (or foot) pretty badly like two days after J-Ho signed? [/B-Bob's horribly hot Heat Hate are GO]
There's A LOT of good weed in Miami. I live here I know. Now, I don't smoke anymore but most of my friends here smoke like it's a profession.
When you said busted for drugs I expected to be something that is actually hardcore. I've never drank, smoked or used any drugs of any sorts - and even I don't think of mar1juana as anything more serious than drinking or smoking, and possibly less serious.
you guys wonder how NBA players go broke? when your that rich, be careful who you let in your circle. If I were Haslem, I would buy the drugs myself from someone I didn't know....or send someone I really know to get them for me.
considering he was suspended a few games for smoking weed I think he is more than just a guy who looks like he does http://www.sacbee.com/static/weblogs/sports/kings/archives/013924.html the link has a q&a with Miller about his drug use
When are we going to just legalize marijauna? People say it makes you lazy, out of it, etc., but Joakim Noah is a certified stoner yet he has arguably the best motor in the game and a great basketball IQ. Some people, like Beasley, use it to self-medicate. He clearly has problems much deeper than the drug use.
