Wait...what? Even though UH did not win C-USA they were playing for the right to be in a BCS bowl in Keenum's senior year. Granted, they were soundly beaten, but when was the last time Rice played a game that would get them in a BCS bowl?
I'd take an actual championship ring over "a chance". Coogs can brag about their screen shots of poll rankings all they want, the Owls have the hardware.
Given the following scenario, which would you choose? Rice starts the season 12-0 and goes into the C-USA championship game. If they win they go to a BCS bowl, if they lose they go to some other bowl on par with the Liberty bowl. Rice starts the season 9-3 and then beats some C-USA team to win the C-USA title and play in the Liberty bowl.
And one more, then I'm done. Would you rather Rice go 7-6, winning C-USA and losing a bowl game or would you rather them go 12-1, losing C-USA and winning their bowl game?

I think he could push him in camp, but fat Aggie really started to come on strong towards the end of his rookie year. I doubt he gets beat out.
Honestly, I had never heard of this guy...but since everyone is so high on him, had to check out some highlight tubes. Very impressive. He spends a significant amount of time clogging up the line or playing in the backfield. He's also very adept at chasing down quarterbacks. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/oQTlcFJDxZg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Bullough has gotten some camp buzz from those in attendance. Slaughter experiment at WR is already over. http://blog.chron.com/ultimatetexan...-bester-warmsley-release-wr-cruse/#23441101=0
Grades by analysts aren't always equivalent to grades given by NFL teams. He probably dropped because he's a 2 down player. Most teams aren't drafting ILB's early if they can't stay on the field for passing downs.
Looks like Tyrone Ezell was released. As well as Andy Cruse and Nathan Slaughter. So much for having Slaughter added to names like Savage, Mercilus, and Pagan.
