All of the DE's are small for the 3-4. Wonder if they're looking at them as OLB's, rotational DEs in 4 man fronts, or just as ST players. All the DTs are 295+ though and could possibly be used at DE as well.
As a Rice alumnus, I'm very excited about Boswell. I've seen him kick in warm ups and this kid is the next freaking legatron. He can consistently nail 60 yarders.
I don't think ppl realize just how big the Max B signing is. This guy had a third round grade from a lot of draft analyst. I don't know if you guys pay close attention to the patriots but he plays very similarly to Rob Ninkovich , just punishing running backs and putting pressure on qbs. This guy will get a lot of field time cause he gets results. I hope Cush can stay healthy and if he does our defense will be so nasty. I'm so excited about this season, we're gonna shock a lot of ppl. Only 118 days to go...
Happy for Forsch. He's a hard worker and was an outstanding student. Also excited about Boswell. Fat aggie can go hit the bricks.
Texans had a solid draft (for a change). Only headscratcher was not addressing RT. And it sounds like Williams is still battling knee problems. Why not sign Richardson or Patchen the minute the draft ended? We need help on the right side still. But other than tackle. I love the guys they drafted. Solid players every one. Blue and Pagan will be steals and our first 4 picks were solid. Taking a flyer on Savage at the end of the 4th was smart.
Quessenberry will play right tackle. He's talented enough to play tackle, guard and center. Our o line is gonna finally be good again. They're gonna mess around and make FitzPatrick look legit
At the combine, the word was that Richardson was going to probably need surgery which would cause him to miss the year.

Not to mention Rice found more success in the season than the Cougars ever did with Case Keenum, actually winning C-USA.
