Now that Israel's annexation of the West Bank is being essentially approved of by the United Arab Emirates it is more necessary than ever to heighten the move toward the now one state reality with equal human and political rights for all --the type of system we enjoy in America and the West. The BDS Movement of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions is the best non-violent way forward to this goal.
An interesting article is the following by Medea Benjamin a Jewish American activist.

Don’t be hoodwinked by Trump’s UAE-Israel ‘peace deal’
The normalization of relations between the UAE and Israel, facilitated by the U.S., serves to prop up three repressive leaders — and will cause further harm to Palestinians.

Another example of how the media failed in their reporting. This was not a middle east peace plan by any stretch. It was a glorified arms deal. Of all the Arab countries, UAE is always going to be the most likely to warm to Netanyahu's autocratic right wing government. UAE puts money and corruption first above their Religion. I've spent some time in Dubai, and found it to be the most hypocritical culture I could imagine.

Nobody should be dumb enough to believe this will actually lead to peace. Quite the opposite eventually IMO.

    Bin Zayed's accomplishments summary:

    • created MBS
    • Imposed embargo on Qatar.
    • Revived Bashar Assad's regime
    • kept Iranian revolutionary guard corp. business alive.
    • Sponsorship to South Yemen separatists, Haftar in Libya to militants in Mali.

Normalization with Israel is basically the most logical thing he had done

UAE was already doing a lot of business with Israel. This is merely a formalization of what was happening already.

Trump makes a lot of mistakes, but his politics regarding Israel are excellent.
