France could have been lethal if they had everyone of their stars playing and healthy

    Parker/Beaubois
    Batum/Florent Pietrus
    Mikael Pietrus/Florent Pietrus
    Diaw
    Noah/Mahinmi

They'd be sound defensively and decent enough offensively to be a major contender.

It's possible Parker or Roddy B would come off the bench even for Nando. I want to see that French team play, it's too bad they couldn't get all their guys together...or even most of them. Good prospects continue to come out of France though so they have a bright future.

Half court offense seemed a little sloppy, most points came from individual talent. With that said, this team has enough time to mesh together, and I think with Chauncey/KD, they will.

Maybe I'm smoking, but I thought I saw Von Wafer or some guy with a mohawk on the bench?

France had twigs masquerading as centers. I think the good teams with big frontcourts might surprise USA at the Worlds.
