That's the only reason why I watch golf. Tiger is amazing. That putt was SOOOO clutch. LOL, he should be in that League of Clutch commercials.
Hopefully there will be a stream tomorrow. Can't wait to set up the dual monitor. Work and play at the same time ftw.
yeah it will all be on usopen.com I really want to watch at work, but I don't really want to get the excessive bandwidth flag. Guess I'll just have to check in on it now and then and watch the last hole or two.
while the 18 hole playoff is a big time test for the players and kind of cool, it sucks for entertainment purposes. it's so anticlimactic. you have to wait a day and all the excitement of the last few holes goes away and then it's on monday and most people don't even get to watch it. you watch the whole weekend of golf and then it basically just ends with a report of who won while you were at work.
I'm with you. It will be impossible for an 18 hole playoff to match the drama of a tense U.S. Open on Sunday. If it's close, the last 3-4 holes might be interesting.
I'm surprised they didn't go with the later start, too. I guess they had to be prepared in case it's still tied after 18...in which they go to sudden death. I'll be watching at work. One tab on golf and the other on France v. Italy.
yup, austria/germany is the big footy match today. -GO AUSTRIA! as for golf, i hope it's over before the soccer starts. and don't hate me but i wouldn't mind seeing rocco pull off the upset.
I was at dinner yesterday when Tiger finished, but it looked like the sun was still out, why did they set the playoff for today? EDIT: Nevermind, I just realized it's an 18 hole playoff.
What the heck? I watched the opening 9 on ESPN in HD, and then it switches to NBC, and it is in the old school resolution? How pathetic is that? DD
That was pretty bad... Gotta love the free stream on usopen.com. Instead of commercials, you get a live shot of the pacific ocean.
