Take Beltway 8 N and once you get past 290, follow the directions I gave RM95.

I was thinking about being there by 7 so I can get a good seat and catch some of the Stros game.

Jillian's sounds mighty tempting...it's a lot closer for me. I'll talk to the wife, I think I'll get her to agree at least one of them.

Thanks codell. I still don't know what you look like. But, my entire entourage will be Asian. I'm sure I'll find you.

For all of you guys going to Jillians -- I wanna hear what you think of the daycare they run there!

Haha...I'll have to tell her that one. It might help the cause.

Hey which SRO location are you guys talking about anyways? 444 Northwest Mall, or 6982 FM 1960? If it's the northwest mall one, I'm trying to figure out why someone said to take 290 to the belt??

    Harrissment,

    The one on 1960.

The one near NW Mall closed down I believe.

    Coma,

Just look for a real fat ugly guy with a black rockets cap, glasses, goatee, red Astros shirt and khaki shorts.

Email me through the board and Ill give you my cell # in case you get lost.

    It's the Willowbrook one, 1960.

Coma, I'm in a blue polo (gasp B-Bob) shirt with narrow horizontal stripes, with khaki pants and flip-flops. I'll be wearing a blue baseball cap most likely.

In case you can't figure it out codell, I'm coming. I'm leaving after the 6:00 Seinfeld. :)

I should be there right at 7.

When you walk in, take a sharp left and youll see a big screen in the corner. Take a right and there is a couple of smaller big screens on the left, opposite the bar. Ill probably try to sit there so we can put some tables together.

    A POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVE:

There is a sports bar on Mangum (near Northwest Mall) called The Perfect Rack. They are showing the fight and the cover charge will be no more than $5 cover (possibly as low as three dollars, depending on how many people show up) after 11:00 pm.

They are also having a "best-dressed contest for the ladies"

Disclaimer: I have never been to this sports bar. It has been around for about 5 years. It is in a relatively seedy strip center that contains an adult video store, some kind of massage parlour, a tattoo shop, and I think one or two more questionable businesses. Though the sports bar, from the outside, appears to be normal and decent, I really have no idea what it's like. But it probably won't have a bunch of kids there.

Anybody know more about this place?

Thanks for the email invite codell, but $10 is a little high for me. What with all these closing costs and fees, I now have no money... ;)

Seriously, I'm watching it at a buddy's house in The Woodlands but thanks anyway.

SRO does not allow anyone under 21 without a parent with them. It's a SportsBar first, cafe second.
If I didn't have other plans (made by my wife), I would blow my cover and come watch it with you guys...

    Hey, 1960?

On their website, there's two locations...

    SRO NORTHWEST MALL ~ 713.683.5025
    SRO CHAMPIONS ~ 281.537.0691

I called the Northwest Mall one. They are still open. That's not the one y'all are talking about?

I'm all the way out here in Sugar Land. I don't know why I assumed it was Northwest location.

Well techinically, they are both NW of Houston. :)

Its not that much farther than you would have to go to get to the one on 290. Its about 5 mins more driving time at the most.

    Sounds good codell!

I will call everyone with the change in plans, and I will see you guys up there around 8'ish.

    SRO here we come...

It's better than that Jillians crap! ;)

PS. codell/RM95, out of courtesy, I'd like to be able to call you guys and let you know if something comes up. I'd hate to say I'm going to go, and not show up without notice. If either of you guys are fomfotable, email me your cell @ comadose@myrealbox.com

    Later.

    Coma,

Cell # is 281-686-2787. If anyone else needs directions or wants to know where to find us, call me at that #.

I am getting there early before it gets too crowded.

    Mulder,

I totally forgot about the black bagging. I guess we can all meet upstairs.
