Tyson - because it is a one year deal, and it allows the team more flexibility.

Depending upon Yao and whether we need to rebuild I would prefer a one year contract.

MIller might actually help the offence

since we are over the cap already and may be very well over the luxary tax threshold, his contract may not be just 12 sth mil. i don't believe signing miller will cost a lot so it won't hurt us financially if yao gets injured again. miller could be a good veteran backup center for a rebulding team.

So Rocket have Yao, Andersen, Hill n Hayes that can play Center. IMO Andersen plays similarly like Brad Miller and he can play PF position as well. Rockets need that blocker/rebounder big guy inside and I see that in Chandler more than Miller. I would go for Chandler!

i wonder if its because no one wants to deal with Morey, knowing they'll come out on the losing end..

****. Financially flexibility (Dampier's contract situation) wins again, for the second time today.

    I agree? :)

Don't know how you could get it done, but I'd like both.

Brad Miller is more of a "system" guy. He fits the offense.

I think Morey should See what the price on Gortat is...and maybe revisit Cousins talk...I dont know if Morey Can pull off NY 1st round pick/J Hill for Cousins but that...then they could use remaining assets for major talent...might be the smartest move we can make...to not waste any assets...cousins would also eventually replace Yao ming providing a seemles transition.

    Forget both ...

I think we should try to move minimal assets for Varejo or Gortat.
Then make a major push for allstar by the deadline...sure melo/granger/CP3 going to move.

Or make a major move for Cousins...

Sort a belated attempt to placate Dirk. After all he signed for less $$$ so the Mavs could find him some help. Well, this is his "help".
