That's not true. Cousins and Westphal had a heated exchange which ended with DeMarcus saying something like: "If you think I'm such a problem why don't you trade me." Then W. used that statement in a desperate attempt trying to save his job, failed miserably and got fired. DeMarcus never actually demanded a trade, and his problems were with the coach not the players.
