That was an unbelievable shot. I'm happy that fans of a struggling team had a bright spot like that to cheer about. It's also pretty ironic that the Grizzlies passed up on Tyreke to draft Hasheem Thabust lol.
you got to give Kings fans credit for being so passionate. their team sucks, but they still went above and beyond on excitement, even considering the play was truly very exciting.
OJ Mayo looked like he traveled like CRAZY on his last shot.....like, I'm talking from here to Corpus Christi traveled.
Sorry this is a Miami Heat highlight, but when it comes to buzzer beaters, this one definitely comes to mind:

lol look at the dude coming off the kings bench at 1:34... jumping around before the ball went in. he already knew.
...I don't know. Ike Diogu killed him with hustle a few nights earlier and it looked like Ike was hiding a couple of gallons of ice cream under his jersey. My point is, don't believe the stats when watching Cousins. His effort and play are both wildly variable. Westphal had that, "I hate my life" look every time Cousins did something stupid and Paul had to keep him in the game.
...that was pretty amazing. Maybe not as exciting as Tyreke's but to hit close to a 3/4 court shot after picking up your dribble while being double teamed is pretty phenomenal....never mind the travel.
So we shouldn't believe the stats when he put up 21 and 16. So did he suck this game then? I watched it and he hit some shots that kept them in the game.
My point is just that Cousins has some serious flaws in attitude and effort and I wouldn't say that he is untouchable as a player considering how he obviously frustrates his coach and likely management too. If your just watching stat lines, you miss those types of things. It's like the first time Andrew Bynum put up 40pts. Everyone was talking about how awesome the Lakers were going to be with Bynum and they failed to realize then awkward rookie Deandre Jordan put up 23 and 12 on 11 of 12 shooting for the Clippers because Bynum couldn't be bothered to play defense. Phil cut his minutes in half the next couple of games because of it. I missed this game but have watched several Kings games this year and Cousins has not impressed me and I was a HUGE proponent of Houston trying to get him this past off season. Just saying the numbers don't tell the whole story.
Another halfcourt buzzer beater, hopefully not thread derailment. Rasheed Wallace had one years ago right off an inbounds STEAL to tie the game that the Pistons eventually won. Good commentator reaction <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pXnNZjM9BRc?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pXnNZjM9BRc?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
This is definitely an all-timer. Doesn't matter how many times I see this, can't believe it happened. Denver is up 3 WITH THE BALL out of bounds, less than 2 seconds left and they blow it.
