    Holy crap.

    We just completed all the pieces of the Bogut trade using BimaThug's Lou Williams expanded trade math

    It would be a 5-team trade (LAL, HOU, DAL, PHI, BKN) and we structure our salary matching this way.

    Ennis + KJ for Lou
    Brewer for Bogut

    Tyler Ennis was trash..so, we did not miss anything. The Good thing is that we open up another roster spot. We have 2 roster spots opened up now and 3.3 Million under Salary Cap. Morey is a genius

    fwiw: Brown can't be traded. Hasn't been long enough since signing with Rockets (the second time).

    Nope, Huertas is a guaranteed 1.5 so it's roughly 3.3 + 1.7 - 1.5 = 3.5.

    I feel like Morey has to have a solid plan in place for this space then. Otherwise we probably could have off loaded Ennis to another team for "cash considerations" and a 2nd and then just traded for Bogut. Have to imagine Morey values Bogut at least as much as the Portland or Denver 2nd.

    Morey created full cap-space for Ennis$ for the summer, as Huertas is not guaranteed next year. So, I'd say since he didn't do what you suggested, their either is no market for someone to eat Ennis' salary, or Morey isn't interested in Bogut enough to maximize cap-space between KJ+Ennis, for buyout purposes this season.
