If Tyler Ennis would show ANY semblance of shooting ability he would be a keeper.

His defense and ability to handle the ball are fine, but his shooting confidence is spectacularly low and If he doesn't figure it out he is going to be out of the NBA.

And? This is now. I set my expectations based on the context of the events, not some one-size fits all expectation.

Bobby Brown and Prigs (at 39 years old) aren't better replacements, not even on paper.

Can't shoot, too slow to attack the rim or get the defense moving, plays poor defense.

    Still better than Brewer

Ban Tyler Anus. Delete Corey Sewer

Bring back Andrew Goldilocks and sign Raphael Putney

Brooks was an elite shooter, but mediocre to terrible at everything else. Personally, I thought our team would have been much better off with Lowry starting and him coming off the bench, but the Ginobli happened.

Prigs is solid, yes he's a liability on the defensive end but so are many others on this squad. However offensively he can hit an open 3, is able to pass to an open man and can drive the ball into the paint.

He's shown that, what has Ennis shown thus far?

Ennis has shown us that he lacks confidence in a serious and terrible way, which is his biggest problem.

Ray MacCallum is out there, So is Steve Blake. Not great but probably an upgrade over Ennis at this point.

Hopefully he will grow and gain confidence, it has only been 8 games

He has also shown that three different teams found him not good enough to pick up his option/ keep him. Also that since drafted he has minimal improvement.
Last year Vaughn was the most horrible player in the nba. There was also Johny O'Bryant who the year before that was the most horrible player in the nba to the point of being comedy watching him play. Both were his teammates. Both of those dudes actually got noticably better. Not Ennis. And JOB is already out of the league.
When even JOB can improve and not you..

Goodness have to admit, that wussy Spaniard Sergio Llull woulda been a VERY nice addition on this current team. He wouldnt have to bring a LICK of defense on the plane over, expectations & duties cut in half. And starting role could be ALL his next to a top 5 player in the world.

The bar is set pretty low for a competent PG and these options still arent coming close. Get well, PatBev

Not sure what the big deal is here as it's a stop gap solution. Prigs had some great moments in his brief stint and he has battled the dinosaurs but you ride with Ennis until Bev comes back or the trade deadline.
