As long as we have Daryl Morey as our GM, the Rockets will continue to be one of the top teams in the league. Amazing, just a few days ago I was dreaming of getting Ty when there were talks of the Nuggets waiving him, Morey made my dream come true while giving up peanuts! Morey is love Morey is life.
love how good lawson is at creating angles for passes. He clearly sees the play ahead of time and works hard to get the defender out of position to open up a passing angle. Great passing instincts with the quickness/ball-handling to back it up
I've criticized mchale in the past. But you have to admit all the players he's encountered love him. He's a players coach, he actually listens to the opinions of the players. Of course he's not x and o guy but he keeps our guys loose. He's like what doc is to the clippers players.

If we just look at Lawson on court, is he already one of the best PGs Houston have had? Our list of PGs historically is pretty sad bunch.
how do you rate bradley beal of the wizards. Nbadraft.net although they can terrible with comparisons, compared bradley beal to marcus thronton when he came out of the university of florida http://www.nbadraft.net/players/bradley-beal i didnt think jason terry would have an impact for us last year, but he was great at times. I think Thornton can find his niche with us, it seems like unwanted players seem to excel with us( aka josh smith)

I guess it depends on if you factor in what Goran and Lowry became after they left. Both guys were pretty damn good in 2012 (Kyle before he got sick/hurt, Gogi when he started). When you factor in defense, Lawson's more or less on the same level as those guys. Probably a little better. He's certainly the best passing PG we've had in a long, long time.
Man that 09 Draft was loaded. Is it safe to say that it's the second best draft of the century, behind 03?
