I always had a feeling. Fortunately TyLaw made it a little easier. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9453704&postcount=21266
I'm not sure we need to do much to revive him unless you're talking about his off court issues. 9.6 apg with 34.1% 3 point percentage is certainly going to make defenses work - and that was his worst 3 point shooting average in the last 3 seasons. I just watched the videos and he has a good stroke, incredible court vision and handles. Only concern is poor Ariza though - that dude will have to WORK to keep guys in front of him. Dwight can just catch lobs and defend and try not to post up and get stupid offensive fouls. D-Mo can do all the posting up for us. I'm renewing my League Pass now.

Lowry and Dragic were both pretty good on those pre Harden teams. Especially in 2012-2013. On another note, I ran the trade on both NBA Trade Machine and Real GM Trade Checker, and it's saying the trade is illegal. Did their sites not adjust to a new cap or something?
Basically all the Rockets offered was salary relief ... Could the Fakers have offered a similar package of spare parts that offered the same relief ? Doubt they wanted to part with any "significant talent" (not that they have much). The #1 pick if lottery protected probably isn't transferred in the near future if its the Fakers pick ..... Rockets pick is almost guaranteed to be outside the lottery. This deal doesn't appear to be about the poo platter of talent that was moved but the salary relief & late first round pick. Also have to consider how it sets Denver up for next years FA market ... I haven't looked at their salary situation but I'd wager they will have lots of money to throw around next offseason .... They will likely have their own high lottery pick , the Rockets #1 pick & a lot of cap space to attempt to make a big improvement next offseason.
Wow. I thought we'd have to give up at least one significant piece. At least Papa and NJ will get some playing time in Denver
Holy crap. I just about had a stroke (in a good way) when I read the list of what we gave up. A late first and our entire towel-waving brigade for a troubled but underrated playmaker. Morey is the wizard.
You just knew that morey was planning a move like this! As I said the another thread, there was no way he let josh smith go like that unless he had something in the works. Money's record shows that he gets **** done! Stop doubting!
