    In NBA 2k11 I won 8 championships with Lawson at the point.... I think we can expect those type of results here!

    I wasn't a fan of giving up Jones+other assets for Lawson..... But for peanuts and open roster spots for guys like Wood, Williams, and/or Rice.... I'm all for it!!!!!!

    Watching those highlights I could see a dunk fest between Harrell, Capella, and Howard with the way Lawson gets into the lane and dishes.

    I think everyone knew the price would be low. What I'm surprised about is that DM took on Lawson's contract. THIS is what 'winning now' looks like. Great job Daryl.

    nah he definitely needs to start and play 30+ min a game. Who's to say he won't be a descent defender if he gives effort. I doubt he was trying his hardest on d for a lottery team. Besides the offense he brings will outweigh wtv defensive liability. Bev will be a 25 minutes of hell every game type of guy. The role he was always suited for. He can go balls to the wall for all of his minutes now.

    Smith didn't have 2 dui's in 6 months though. Hopefully it won't lead to affecting him on the court. With that being said though I'm REALLY EXCITED that we landed Lawson, we finally landed a 2nd playmaker at the guard position that we really needed.

    League may not come down hard on Lawson; similar to Larry Sanders last year. League gave him 10 games, but was willing to waive if he got help prior (which he didn't). That was during season; my guess is that league will want to meet with Lawson prior to season to see if he is still having issues before acting and suspension would be minimal unless Lawson tells Silver to "eff off."

    If this was NFL, he'd be suspended indefinitely.

    Goodell is only in charge of the NFL, as far as I know. NBA is out of his jurisdiction, I'm pretty sure.
