Best tweet. Just read that for a second. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">So...playoff Rockets team that made WCF lost Josh Smith but added Ty Lawson, Pat Beverley & Donatas Motiejunas, plus two quality rookies.</p>— David Weiner (@BimaThug) <a href="https://twitter.com/BimaThug/status/622945284620881920">July 20, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
what a bench! dwight-capela dmo-jones-harrell ariza-brew-dekker harden-thornton-KJ lawson-beverley i would sign terry to a 1yr deal for the remainder of the MLE to create another trade chip. then look to trade him, KJ, and jones for a PF. that package could probably combine for about 8-10M incoming salary in trade.
Guys, remember when just 24 hours ago, Morey was considered a fraud and a terrible GM and an idiot and etc.? Remember? #IMWT

Google "Warren Buffett" and "Value investing". Buy low/sell high is genius. Buffett has become revered for less.
didnt give up any key guys and gave them what will be a late first rounder, and we get a future 2nd rounder in return. didnt even trade jones, sheeeesh morey
On the forefront, yes. No cap room. But if Durant is willing (still a long shot IMO), we know Morey thinks ahead and will certainly find a way to clear cap space.
Denver was going to eat the $25M in salary if they released Ty Lawson. They saved $22M with this deal.
The genius of Morey is him NOT jumping the gun in the offseason and instead keeping us in position to seize opportunity when it presented itself.
also wouldnt be a bad idea to just keep that portion of the MLE available to use later on in the season?
