For himself, I hope it was really our system and lack of chemistry that caused his lack of bad play and he thrives in Indiana.
Surprised he chose Indiana over Knicks / Nets. He must really not care about partying hardcore in a big city.
I agree with others. I don't see him getting many minutes over George Hill, solid defense and having a great 3pt shooting year. But, since Hill can defend the 2 guard, maybe they use Lawson to rest Ellis, George and Hill...featuring Hill/Lawson when Ellis or George rest. btw: Don't sleep on Myles Turner. The 19yr old is their starting PF now and really coming on strong. He's most definitely an Alley-Oop target for Ellis right now.

He should have had that same motivation here. Ty played 1176 minutes and 32 seconds for us. 488 minutes and 50 seconds of those were without Harden even on the floor. He sucked for the majority of those 1176 minutes and 32 seconds. Harden was not his problem.
He will only be with his new team for like 6 weeks. Dude lost hella money with his performance this season so he needs to be focused on salvaging his value, not partying.
I'm a Rockets fan through and through, and I'm also a Tar Heel fan. It breaks my heart to see Lawson to pan out the way he has, both as someone who watched him growing up and as a Rocket. He had so much potential, and I was thrilled to see us pick him up for very little. I can't help but wish him the best. As someone who's seen multiple lives wrecked by alcoholism, I can only hope he figures it out. But *******, I do wish he would have figured it out here. It's all in his hands now. History seems to say that he'll end up out of the league (and possibly all pro ball) within a couple of years. For his sake, I hope its not the case.
Wish the best to Ty. As long as he was here he seemed to be professional. That's all you can ask for. I wonder what a good coach could have done for Ty.
imo he's very stupid and delusional to choose a playoff team over the Nets. Stuckey is also back. Good luck padding your stats Ty.
