Ty Lawson says Rockets told him "there is no truth" to rumors he is being shopped

As well as all of the hacking and banging in the paint and on the floor. Sometimes he be cooking up some Arian Foster & Alfred Blue. But he has to cook up some D and keep them turnovers low (to the ground)

I've been in positions of authority where I had to hire and fire ppl. I had to be diplomatic and less than honest when it came to the latter. TBH, it still bothers me to this day. But Morey is cut from a different cloth. He's one of the best at doing this with a smile on his face and a pat on the back.

The story is Lawson's agent wants to explore trades and approached Morey to help find an amicable solution. Speculation is the agents leaked this news. I don't see how the current news means Morey lied 2 1/2 weeks ago.

It's in the Woj article. Lawson's people want him moved. The Rockets are helping to facilitate this request. It's a contract year for him after all.

 

I can understand Lawson not being happy but already requesting a trade? He really went south when they put him on the bench - that was suppose to be a wake-up call for him. Instead he sinks further.

What Lawson is showing us is that he is very mentally weak. Too bad for him, if he just embraced what he has and kills it for the minutes he's on the floor, he'd end up getting his starting position back.

I mean - everything is there for him - the starting PG spot is there for him. He just hasn't taken it. What a disappointment.

What he's self admitting by requesting a trade in this scenario is that he's at best "good stats on a bad team" type of player. Asking for a trade this early from a team that you got beat out by Patrick Beverley on says loud and clear... Send me to a bad team that will let me run the show my way... Not gonna happen on a contender.

 

I bet you Westbrook, Lowry or Rose wouldn't have a problem playing alongside him. Any shooting point guard too.
