Says the Rockets told him there's is no truth to it.

What else can they say, I guess, but I thought that was interesting.

If Ty keeps playing like tonight he won't need reassurances about being traded.

Good he's playing great the last two games and I doubt he has much trade value for what we would get in return

Makes sense, God knows the players need no more distractions... Probably to help Ty's confidence... Tonight showed it may have settled him down a bit.

Hopefully Ty's performance tonight was turning a corner rather than an outlier. If he starts playing like this consistently it can really turn our season around.

His value's so low the Clippers aren't interested in swapping Paul Pierce for Lawson. :(

Morey - "Listen Ty, these rumors are false, we will not trade you this year."

I still think if season is lost by Feb, he will be dealt to another team to help him with his future contract & to get us something in return.

    "We are not shopping you."

So they'll have a trade lined up by February. :p

I actually believe them. His trade value is limited. He is an expiring and his upside is far more than what they could expect to get in return. He is starting to play well.

I believe the Rockets. The Rockets are pretty honest when it comes to the business side of player transactions. Morey was calling players assets for 4 years to their faces.

Similar to organizations/coaches/players saying they're fully committed to whatever... then, doing the complete opposite 5 minutes later

I wish they didn't tell him that. Still want him off the team.....

Too much of a defensive liability to keep him in the game for long stretches.

And the fact that he's making 13 million dollars and the team, coaches, and management has to constantly have conversations with him to be aggressive says a lot about his fragile mentality. The Rockets already have too many mentally weak players they need to purge. They need more tough minded players that consistently play with heart without constantly begging them to do so.

If the Rockets don't trade him, I'll be the first to say I was wrong, and I do hope he keeps up the good play. Obviously.

Right. Lawson playing like Lawson is one of the few things that could really make a difference this season. His awful play has been an aberration. He's talented. He'll turn it around at some point, whether it's here or somewhere else. Trade him now (and get nothing for him) and you guarantee it'll be somewhere else.

LOL he is falling into the Morey trap. Only the fans say "In Morey We Trust". Never seen a player say something like that.
