It's a shame that masks were turned into a culture war issue by the usual suspects because friends of mine who are doctors said that they've never seen so few cases of the flu and other seasonal bugs. Yes, working from home impacted that, but masks also helped. They just make sense from a practical perspective.
Since my post, I've started my policy of wearing my mask only if required. So far, everywhere I've gone still requires them. That just opens an opportunity for confirmation bias and other forms of motivated reasoning.
The San Jose Mercury News is the 5th largest daily newspaper in the US and is a very legitimate news source.
Her lies and propaganda spurting are so disturbing. She disgusts me. She, just like so many other new young Republicans will say anything to draw attention to themselves, get more Twitter followers, incite division, and ask for donations. Ugh They need new GOP party hats with TDM on them. (Truth Doesn't Matter)
The real Texans here know the situation on the ground, but you're right, the non-Texans and non-contributing members seem to think they know what's going on like they know the difference between Pinkerton's BBQ and Cortkscrew and TRUTH. But then again, they can't tell the difference between OTIS THORPE and KWAME BROWN @pgabriel
What the **** are you talking about? I'd guess at least 75% of this entire forum has you blocked. You're really like a child and maaaannnn where are your parents at?
The Texans know what’s going on Texas the non contributing non Texans pretend to know about Houston They are probably eat bbq at Dickey’s

Went to the Museum of Natural Science and Zoo this week, and neither required them, but it was recommended for those who aren't vaccinated. I still put it on when I'm in close quarters with people and/or if the place requires them. Just trying to be respectful of the establishment and folks who are expecting everyone to wear a mask in that environment. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next month or so. Kind of wonder if food establishments will keep wearing them even when the pandemic is officially over. I kind of like the idea of folks not breathing on my food.
My wife and I have been wearing them even though we're both fully vaccinated. I figured we'd start tapering off in June, and probably around July, if the COVID numbers are still declining, we'll probably ditch the masks except for planes, trains, and hospitals/doctors offices.
Those places we'd probably also wear masks until there is some sort of an "all clear". Probably grocery stores too, just because everyone is pretty close in the stores and I don't really want to make other people uncomfortable.
It was the first time in years I did not get a cold. It was pretty awesome. I have a hard time wanting to ditch the mask because I liked not being sick from other crap lol. One year I got the flu twice and it knocked me out for a whole week.
