when was the last time glen rice made a difference?? NY turned handstands to get rid of the guy...

when was the last time mo taylor showed he was a real solid contributor to a playoff contender??

I just don't get the "once we get these guys back healthy, everything will be alright" argument. and i'm not certain that glen rice will ever really be healthy again...not sure if he cares, either.

francis said he wants another impact guy...neither of these guys are impact guys. those guys alone don't make this a playoff squad in the Western Conference as it exists today.

The key is for the Rockets to show definite improvement next year-- particularly on the front line. Everything will work out if they do.

A team with a frontline of Eddie, Taylor, Kenny and Cato, who are being pressed by two young studs such as Butler, Woods, Haislip, Stoudamir-- even if a game or two short of the playoffs--will be sufficient to keep the forward thrust.

Such a team would generate the excitment we need going into the new stadium. If they make the playoffs, even better.

The rebuilding should actually be near complete this summer and we should not short circuit it after we've come this far.

We still need more talent. This can be seen not just by our record, but perhaps most clearly, when we still have a shortage of players to trade who could get us another key part such as an Odom or a Rashard. After this summer we should, if needed, have the talent to make such a trade.
