May this one chant & poster sign by Red Rowdies before tip off to make announcement, hopefully will spot by camera. And then watch out the game if any 2 hands on back try chant "two hands on the back FOUL FOUL"
You know, if fans started to count while every opponent shot their free throws, I think it would be extremely effective. It would also help if they slowly sped up their timing to make the shooter feel rushed.
It happens every play when Yao posts up, the Refs know that and they won't want to blow their whistle every play. Its so obvious , they won't blow ****
i finished downloading the nuggets game i havent been able to watch it yet...I will take notes on the game tonight against the jazz and note obvious 2 hands in the back/bad calls against yao so when the video is available i can easily splice it instead of having to rewatch it again. if someone already has a time log of the nuggets game i would appreciate it...i haven't seen the game yet but its sometimes hard for to watch a regular season game when i already know the outcome.
BTW - I was VERY happy to see Adelman get a technical foul in the Indiana game...and it seemed to get the officials attention. More of that please Rick. DD
Remix of Rick Ross's "Push it", and make it: "Push him in the back!" Its loud and clear. Original Chorus: I push and i push (push) I ride and i ride (ride) Tryna survive on 95 (push it to the limit) Put it all on the line (line) At the drop of a dime (dime) I be pushin them whips (whips) Yes, three at a time (push it to the limit) Im pushin it (push) Im pushin it (push) Im pushin it (push) I gotta (push it to the limit) Im pushin it (push) Im pushin it (push) Im pushin it (push) I gotta (push it to the limit)
LOL, i love the NBA. The only place where African American's can be considered "the Man". I guess it's possible but it's just a funny statement to see written.
The "JOHN 3:16" signs come to mind... except this could say in big letters "YAO 12:7" It could have an explanation under it, but it might get more notice alone. it would get noticed. I don't know if it would have immediate impact on a game, but talk would probably get around as to what the $#@! we're talking about with a sign that said it. As for a song... all those words are too much... a small chant like "TWO HAND FOUL, TWO HAND FOUL" is what is needed. yeah, that kinda sucks, but you get it. Sure, music to initiate the chant would be good.
the red rowdies can do it!! i went to the denver game and could hear them chant "you need help, you need help" when one of the nuggets went to the free throw line.. we had seats on the other side and we were able to hear them.. it was hilarious
I nice big sign held by someone behind the basket would be nice. Or maybe one held by multiple people that actually had the rule as stated in the NBA rules handbook. Great idea, btw. I doubt Stern would care but it would at least get announcers talking about it. Doing this during a Nationally televised on ABC or even TNT would be awesome. If JVG is doing the commentary I'd be willing to bet he would talk about it a lot.
The word Hack while doing a slow clap. That would be funny. Though it may sound like a scene from the Mighty ducks when they chant quack quack quack.
